James “Jay” M. Horne is a Bradenton native. He handles all the medical malpractice cases for the office. Jay and his team of medical professionals can handle any complex medical malpractice case. He has handled cases involving Sudden Unexpected Postnatal Collapse (SUPC), misdiagnosis and misreading of MRIs and other diagnostic methods, which resulted in catastrophic injuries to the patient. In addition to handling medical malpractice cases, he practices personal injury/wrongful death and family law.
Jay has been active in the Manatee County Bar Association. He currently serves on the board of directors for the MCBA. He was the past president of the Young Lawyers Division. In addition, he was invited to be a member of the Manatee American Inn of Court.
The Florida Bar trial lawyer section selected Jay as a 2018 Bennett Trial Advocacy Scholar. Jay participated in the Advanced International Trial Advocacy Program at the University of Oxford in England.
